Why do we call this good friday?

Why do we call this Good Friday? When you look at Scripture people will claim that there is all kinds of inconsistencies with the date of Christ's death. However, I believe that the God of the Universe is in control of all things, and in the fullness of time He sent His Son (Galatians 4:4). Through technology, science, astronomy, and common sense, we find that Christ was actually crucified on Wednesday, not Friday.

This gives Jesus Christ three whole days to be dead, almost four. This sounds like Jonah and Lazarus. I believe that Christ was in the tomb for three solid days because that is what He said He was going to do.

The wonderful thing about all of this is that He did not stay in the grave. The eyewitness accounts are the only thing that one needs to believe that He was alive after being dead. There is quite more that I could say on the subject but were the sky of parchment made and every reed a quill and every man a scribe by trade could not write the love of God!
